For Speed Shops

Product development built for speed shops.

Your shop sees problems and product opportunities that mass-market manufacturers miss. Rapid Race Products helps turn those ideas into engineered, repeatable products without requiring traditional tooling or high minimum order quantities.

What RRP can provide

  • 3D scanning and reverse engineering
  • CAD design and design-for-manufacturing
  • Prototype development and fitment testing
  • Engineering-grade polymer production
  • Design for metal additive manufacturing
  • Low-volume and made-to-order production
  • Shop-exclusive or co-branded product programs

A straightforward development path

  1. Identify the opportunity. Bring us the recurring customer need, hard-to-source part, or fabrication bottleneck.
  2. Define the program. We agree on scope, development cost, revisions, exclusivity, manufacturing responsibilities, pricing, and timeline.
  3. Develop and validate. RRP scans, designs, prototypes, and works with your shop through fitment approval.
  4. Produce and support. Approved products move into repeatable low-volume production with clear ordering and revision control.

The exact structure is built around the product and partnership. Programs may be shop-exclusive, co-branded, or developed as an RRP product with the shop as a launch partner.

Production that grows with your shop

Once a product is validated, the right production strategy depends on demand, staffing, materials, and how much capability your shop wants to own.

  • RRP production: RRP remains your manufacturing partner for low-volume, made-to-order, specialty-material, or overflow work.
  • In-house production: When repeat demand supports the investment, we can help evaluate professional 3D printing or scanning equipment for your facility.
  • Hybrid production: Your shop handles selected day-to-day production while RRP supports product development, specialty processes, and overflow capacity.

From outsourced production to in-house capability

Through our technical relationship with Contrive Design Innovations, RRP can help your shop evaluate professional 3D printers and scanning equipment based on the application, material requirements, part size, throughput, workflow, and internal capabilities. Our recommendations are informed by hands-on motorsports development using professional Vision Miner and Mingda systems.

Whether the right answer is continued production through RRP, purchasing equipment for your own facility, or a hybrid approach, we will help identify the path that makes practical and financial sense.
